Crucial CT2CP25664AC800 4GB PC2-6400 2GBx2 200-Pin CL6 Unbuffered DDR2-800 SODIMM RAM Kit

Excellent product, Easy to install.... Dell XPS m1530, Used this exact RAM to upgrade my Dell XPS M1530 from 3 to 4GB (actually calculates out to 3.5 GB). This RAM install was simple... open the door (unscrew), slide the old RAM out, slide the new RAM Cards in and then power back on. Very simple, cheap, and made a noticeable change in my overall usage.

I use my XPS a LOT. I typically have 30 windows open, along with mail, and office. I've noticed less hang ups and the XPS is running a bit faster.
Works For Dell Latitude D630, (What's this?) My Dell Latitude D630 came with 2GBs of DDR2 Ram: specifically Hynix 2x1 GB 2Rx16 PC2-5300S module which works fine most of the time. However, with avast running in the background sometimes it get bugged down when I am downloading large files such as during Metastock data updates. Following this upgrade everything now runs smoothly regardless of how many programs I am running simultaneously.

My laptop runs Windows XP Professional 32 bits. That of course means that my system only sees 3.49GBs of the 4GBs installed memory. The only way to get the laptop to see the entire installed 4GBs of ram is to upgrade to 64 bits operating system such as windows XP 64 bits or Windows 7 64 bits. Nevertheless, I am happy with the performance of my laptop as it is now.

NB: Upgrading the memory in Dell laptops can be a pain for a non-techie especially the Inspiron and Latitude series. This is because Dell engineers in their infinite wisdom decided to hide module A ram under the keyboard of all places. To get to it you must remove the keyboard. There is a youtube video posted by a user named iftibashir. The title of the post is "Upgrading RAM in a Dell Notebook". It is 8.05 minutes long and clearly shows how to do this even if you are not a geek. Hope this helps.
Got the best RAM for less., (What's this?) I have worked with computers since 1978. Always had nothing but perfect results with Crucial ram.
Crucial 4GB RAM, (What's this?) So far everything's been running really well. Extremely easy to install, all I had to do was put the new ones in and it worked from the get-go. No installation of software or anything else. Really easy to install if you know what you're doing. Everything's been sped up. No more crashing of ITunes or Minecraft. My games run a lot faster. It's worth the buy.
do what it suppose too., (What's this?) the price is all right comes with free shipping. this product does what its suppose to do nothing great doesnt over heat. i give it a 4 star because theres nothing wrong with it. overall i think i recommend it but i think you can find it cheaper somewhere. i was just in a hurry to get it so i bought it from amazo because i can return it easily if theres something wrong with it unlike ebay's sellers.
No problems, (What's this?)
Mixed RAM Speeds, (What's this?) I installed just one of the 200-pin, 800 MHz Crucial 2GB chip sets alongside the existing 1GB chip set that came with my HP laptop. The existing 1GB chip was 667 MHz. There weren't any problems with the machine recognizing the new chip set. The Task Manager shows that I now have 3.1 GB RAM. So what if mixing of speeds makes this faster chip run at the 667 speed? I got a good deal and shared the other 2GB with a friend. My computer is faster than ever, and multi-tasks better, with the additional memory in my 32-bit Windows operating system.
Good memory replacement for Latitude D620 laptop, (What's this?) After doing a little bit of research, I settled on this 4G RAM replacement kit.

I believe it arrived fairly quickly, even though I had selected the free shipping option. That's always a good thing.

I followed illustrated on-line instructions posted by some good soul to enable me to get to both locations of the RAM modules. The one under the keyboard is the hard one to get to. Those faint of heart may chose the installation to be done by a trained technician.

Once the new RAM was in (upgrade from 2G originally installed) the laptop booted up with no problems, and Windows recognized the new RAM configuration.
It's RAM, (What's this?) So, this is pretty standard RAM, works like it's supposed to and the price wasn't bad. Don't have much more to review on it.
Exactly As Advertised., (What's this?) There is not a lot to say about this RAM. If you are here looking for it, you probably know what you are buying. This is 2x2GB sticks of DDR2 RAM. I received it in two days via Amazon Prime and threw it in my sister-in-laws old laptop to speed it up. The speed increase was immediate of course, since Windows Vista can barely run on 2GB of RAM. I experienced no memory errors or any other problems at all. No reason to doubt the quality of this product.
