EVGA GeForce 6200 512 MB DDR2 PCI 2.1 VGA/DVI-I/S-Video Graphics Card, 512-P1-N402-LR

EVGA Geforce 6200 512 MB DDR2 PCI 2.1 Video Card, (What's this?) This is a great video card !
it produces very good quality video in games and photos.
this video card comes with a 2 year warranty.
it also comes with 1-DVI to VGA adapter and 1- s-video cable
this video card is also Windows 7 compatable.
I have Windows 7 Ultimate Edition and it works great !
if you use this with Windows 7 you just have to download the newest driver for it
from the EVGA website.
I would recomend this video card to anyone who wants or needs high quality video.
great lift for 5 yr old PC, Had a 8x AGP 128 MB Nvidia card in older PC(5 yr old or so) and installed this card to give the video a lift for more serious gaming. Upgraded the CPU a little at the same time, single core Athlon from 2800+ to 3400+. Let the XP "found hardware" utility find the driver on the internet. It took a while to locate and install the driver but worked flawlessly.
GOOD DEAL, WORKS GREAT!, (What's this?) The reason I gave 4 stars is because this item is installed in a clients computer and after initial installation and testing, I will not have access to further inspection or use.

This item shipped and arrived faster than expected, installed with ease, and once I updated the drivers from the EVGA website, it worked like a charm on at least 2 high end games on the clients machine.

Although there is no fan on this model, it was very easy to attach one to the existing heatsink (to help with cooling during game-play).

I recommend this item for people who are looking for a good video card at a good price.
It works, but a disappointment., (What's this?) My pc with an integrated graphics card was getting slow, even with the addition of more memory, so I figured that adding a graphics card--any card--would improve the performance. I was wrong. Before & after benchmarking revealed that this video card did not improve graphics performance at all. A visit to [...] confirmed that I should not have expected an improvement with this particular card on my pc. My learning: go to the Video Card Benchmarks site before buying a video card, rather than after.
GeForce 6200, (What's this?)
Great for a third monitor, Added this card to a Dell Precision 490 workstation at the office to provide a third monitor. It works great, all the better since the nVidia Desktop Manager provides settings for both cards (the 6200 along with the original Quadro FX).

Also, like many of the reviewers here, I added one of these to an older Dell [a old Dimension 3000 that only has PCI slots] to get a little more mileage out of it with a widescreen (1920x1080) monitor ...the internal video had to be disabled in BIOS and it seemed to need a nudge & a kick with couple of restarts to make it work, but it works.

As for the handful of negative comments you might see here, they appear to be the result of expectations that exceed what low-cost hardware can do, so bear in mind that this is a very basic graphics card.
Great Old School Video Card, (What's this?) I think the title of this review pretty much says it all. I bought this video card as a replacement for one that died in my PC. Because it is a few years old the system does not support PCI Express, which is a HUGE hassle as there are only a tiny handful of video cards avaialble anymore that support the PCI format. I will be upgrading soon but needed something to keep the system humming along in the meantime. This GeForce 6200 has worked out very well. It plugged right in no problem and has performed quite nicely after being recognized by the system. Definitely worth the purchase.
Cheap, yet capable graphics card!, (What's this?)
EVGA GeForce 6200 512 MB DDR2 PCI 2.1, (What's this?)
"New" computer!!!, (What's this?) I just upgraded from XP to Windows 7, and, with my 64 meg video card, I couldn't even reliably play solitaire. I just received this card this morning, and immediately installed (which was a breeze). I had read that Windows 7 drivers do not com on the disc, so I called EVGA and requested the driver I would need to download. I downloaded the correct driver (along with two other programs), as instructed. Now, my machine seems almost like new. Also, my Magic Jack (which worked OK under XP),didn't run well at all under &. Now it runs GREAT. All in all, I'm perfectly happy with this card.

Seagate Momentus XT 750 GB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s 32 MB Cache 2.5 Inch Solid State Hybrid Drive ST750LX003

Seagate Momentus 750 hybrid 2.5" hard drive- Finally a laptop spinning SATA III Hard Drive, (What's this?) Purchased this recently for a early 2011 MBP 17"-2.2GHZ 16 GB ram, Lion & Snow Leopard & data partitions (3 in all-in same order of creation) The drive replaces a Samsung 1TB 5400rpm drive- which had replaced the stock Toshiba/Apple 750 GB 5400 rpm drive. Formatting & copying the previous partitions on the Samsung to the new Seagate was done via SeriTek 6G expresscard while Seagate was still external. Installed after copying w/o event, booted fine. Apple system profiler show the Seagate drive connecting at the 6G speed- no issue's, not like the well reported 6G SSD connection trouble with early 2011 17" & some 15" MacBook Pro's. My 17" BTW was built in April 2011 & reports 6G in HD bay as well as in optical bay.

The new Seagate is very quiet while copying outside the MBP. Not much info on outside of its case other than Seagate name/size of drive, manufacture date-11/2011, part/model/serial numbers, firmware-SM12 and rated @5V .70 amps. And made in CHINA (Amperage draw is lower than the Samsung 1 TB which is .85 amps & Toshiba/Apple 750 GB rated at 1.0 Amps. both of which are only 5400 rpm drives)Does not state speed, flash memory, or cache size, or SATA interface speed- which are 7200rpm, 8GB flash memory, 32MB cache & SATA III or otherwise known as 6G. Seagate did a pretty good job with current draw on drive compared to other laptop drives- inc. Samsung & Toshiba/Apple stock drive.
Battery Life, Hello, what about the battery life. I purchased a Seagate Momentus XT 500 GB 2.5 Inch Solid State Hybrid Drive ST95005620AS . It seems that this drive eats too much energy, and it a little bit more noisy then Hitachi drives.
Fast drive, but not revolutionary, Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?) I was very intrigued by the idea of the hybrid drive. Combining the SSD and platter drive is a good idea and should provide a considerable boost in speed for repetitive tasks that require disk access. The drive firmware is supposed to handle the task of deciding what needs the SSD and what doesn't. With this said, I haven't seen an amazing increase in speed over my 7200 RPM Western Digital WD7500 Scorpio. I don't know if the drive gets faster when the software gets more data from daily use over time, but it is already somewhat faster than what I am used to at this point.

One thing I think would be nice would be to have more SSD storage in the drive so that you could set up a boot partition on the drive that was always SSD. As it stands, the drive neither has the SSD storage capacity, nor the partitioning option for using SSD for anything other than boost. I feel like the price premium is possibly a bit steep, considering the amount of solid state storage in the device.

I would certainly recommend this drive if you the price is appealing, otherwise you will not see a tremendous step down in performance with a high-quality 7200 RPM drive.
Not what I expected..., (What's this?) I received the package yesterday (shipping was quick and in time for Christmas) but it didn't ship in OEM packaging. I plugged the drive into my Lenovo T420s using an ultra bay adapter and it didn't work out of the box until I had to go and quick format and create a primary partition. The performance is horrible when compared to the SSD drive I have on the machine. I bought this one mainly to use it for holding Virtual Machines and be able to swap between work and personal laptop and it works horridly. Then I did a quick stats using Crystal DiskMark and below are the results of comparison, that speaks well for my anguish. At this time I don't know what to do. It also mentions a speed of 6 GB/s with NCQ enabled and haven't found that to be true as well. It is silent and may be a good choice for holding media other than virtual machines.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    INTEL SSDSA2BW160G3L
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    * MB/s = 1,000,000 byte/s [SATA/300 = 300,000,000 byte/s]

    Sequential Read : 255.377 MB/s
    Sequential Write : 164.
Excellent Hard Drive, THIS IS NOT A SOLID STATE DRIVE. It is in fact a 7200rpm disc drive that has a 4gb section of READ ONLY SSD MEMORY. That means you do not write any info to the 4gb section of SSD on this drive. However, the hard drive itself will determine what goes on to that section. It determines what goes on that section by an algorithm created to discover what you access first upon starting your computer. It will definitely increase your computers start up time. Also it does well when you preform the same basic things upon start up, perhaps opening Word and then accessing the internet and starting iTunes. The hard drive will optimize the start up of your computer and these programs by copping their files to the SSD section.

This drive is great as it increased my boot time of my computer to about 20-30 seconds. Also it is a 7200rpm drive so you do have added performance over 5400rpm drives. It however is not as fast as an SSD, but it gives you a lot more memory for a lower price than an SSD and performs much better than a 5400 rpm drive.

I play quite a number of games on my computer and this hard drive performs well for the games and task i use on my computer.

I personally do not have this hard drive. I do however have the 500 gb version which works very very well. With the added memory of this drive, if you are in need of the extra 250 gb buy this hard drive.
One of the Great innovative products, except two flaws., (What's this?) Cons:
1: pricing is somewhat a little crazy, especially during the Thailand flood..
2: Noisy! Don't know how so much people say it quiet..but I guess they haven't tried any of the Western Digital 7200rpm drives.. I can very easily hear the noise, especially when comparing to my old WD 7200rpm drive.

Overall, got some good feeling as if I was using a SSD; and yes, it really boosts up the start up speed, and some applications launching speed.

I really think 3.5 points would be the best rate for it..but I can choose either 3 or 4...so 3. (Absolutely noticeably noisier than my other drives! Proverb: Seagate drives are usually noisier than WDs, period.
Faster, While this is not SSD Fast, it is significantly faster than the spinning disc drive that it replaced. The write speeds are still about the same, but the read speed is great. I'm using this as a Secondary drive in my XPS 17. I've read some bad reviews of the first generation 500GB drives, it seems to me Seagate has figured this technology out.
Excellent, (What's this?) Installed in a mid 2009 Macbook Pro that originally had a 5400RPM 500GB drive. This thing flies. Boots up from cold in 20 seconds, apps load SSD fast. Install was a breeze.
Super Fast in my MacBook Pro, Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?) I installed this into a MacBook Pro (i7 2.2GHz, 15", Early 2011, 8GB of RAM), which was very easy to accomplish, take off the bottom case and swap the drives out. I was very shocked on how much this sped up the system. I installed Mac OS X Lion using the Internet Recovery (essentially clean install) (since Lion does not include Install DVDs, when the Mac is shipped with Lion). The computer is so fast that I was able to install my programs and copy my files back in half the time of the original disk (which was the Stock 5400 RPM 750 GB HDD). The boot time of the computer is remarkable roughly 14-16 seconds after the Startup sound, and opening Documents and Media files is super quick.
Fast, No Problems in iMac, (What's this?) It installed this drive in my wife's 17" iMac which had a filled 160GB drive. I installed this drive in an IcyDock 2.5" to 3.5" adapater. After using Carbon Copy Clone software to clone her files and operating system (Mac OSX 10.6.8) while running the new drive externally in firewire mode, and opened the iMac and installed the IcyDock/ Momentus hybrid drive internally.
I don't have performance figures to give you, but it seems to speed opening and closing programs and files dramatically. A real kick in the pants.
I has been running without problem for several days now. All programs work fine including network, printers, scanners, and VirtualBox with Windows XT installed.
Seagate Momentus XT 750 GB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s 32 MB Cache 2.5 Inch Solid State Hybrid Drive ST750LX003So far I am extremely pleased.

    Crucial Technology CT2CP25664AA800 4GB 2GBx2 240-pin DIMM DDR2 PC2-6400 Memory Kit

    Amazing product, (What's this?)
Best Way to Improve Performance, (What's this?) If your PC is slowing down with larger files or more complex applications/programs/large photo files/etc., then the quickest and most cost-effective way to improve performance is to increase the amount of internal RAM in your computer. Don't just add 1GB, go for a LARGE increase and you will be very satisfied. Check your computer's specs for how much RAM you can use. Depending upon the operating system or motherboard, you might be limited to only 4GB while others might be able to use 8GB. So Google to find your computer's memory capacity.

Be aware that most pc's are shipped with smaller capacity memory cards installed in ALL of the slots (usually 4) so don't count on using what you have installed ('cause you're going to have to discard some of that to make room for the newer, larger capacity memory boards you are adding); rather, consider using all four slots with new memory. That is, say you have 1GB of RAM now. It is probably made up of four (4) 256MB cards that take up all of the slots. So, if you want to go to 4GB you cannot order 3GB of additional memory because there will be no slots to use. Instead, order four (4) 1GB memory cards, remove the four cards that are in there now and install the new cards in the four slots.

Installation is a breeze - you can do it. Remember to unplug the PC power cord from the back of your computer or from the wall socket BEFORE you start.
Memory is good, (What's this?) Bought this for a friend whose computers were running very slow. I didn't actually put it in, but the prices were good and they provided him the speed increase he was expecting.
Having constant parity errors two months later, (What's this?) I've had this installed into my IBM IntelliStation M Pro for 2 months now. it performed beautifully. A couple of weeks ago I started having sporadic BSODs with memory parity error messages. The frequency increased. Now I am having multiple of those daily. i got interrupted and lost enough work that i removed them and put back the original memory sticks that came with the workstation. I do not know if this is a defective pair that just now started to show the defect, but the original pair that came with the workstation had probably generated about a maximum of few similar BSODs each year in the 5 years I've owned it.
AMAZING, (What's this?) this was unbelievable I ORDERED 12-07-2011 THE RAM KIT ARRIVED 12--2011.
RAM Chips, (What's this?) Price was great (slighty less than others). Arrived better than promised, works greatly. Would shop with this vendor again and again. Thanks for a great deal and a great product.
Good as gold!, (What's this?) I've bought Crucial RAM personally and for company computers for several years, always had it arrive on-time, in good condition, and always perform flawlessly. It's always up to spec, and never had a single bad stick or failure in 10 years.
Died 3 months later, (What's this?) I ordered this set back in Sept 2011 and it worked great out of the box.
But 3 months later my PC crashed and then it would not post or go into the BIOS.
Tried an old RAM stick and the computer worked so not sure what happen to this set of RAM.
Disappointed because I have used Crucial memory for years now and still have some older PCs running with older Crucial memory sticks.
Works as expected, (What's this?) The hardest part to upgrading ram is opening the package.
I upgraded from 2GB of PC2-4700 and it's quite noticeable in speed and response while opening and running Photoshop, Visual Studio, and Eclipse (for Android Developers).
I've also noticed a HUGE improvement during online games, two that I have anyways; Modern Warfare 2 and Left 4 Dead 2. L4D2 went from 180 second map changes to 14 seconds... and all this time I thought it was a bandwidth issue.
Breathed new life into my XPS 420!, (What's this?)

    PNY OPTIMA 1GB DDR2 800 MHz PC2-6400 Desktop DIMM Memory Module MD1024SD2-800

Memory Problems, (What's this?) I recently built my first computer. A modest design running an Intel E6500 microprocessor. Since Windows XP is no longer supported I have been obliged to install Windows 7 Home 64-Bit. Frankly, I dislike it and wish I could stay with XP. One maddening thing, is that my computer has been crashing with fair frequency. The infamous Blue Screen Of Death. These BSOD's have been happening every one or two days. The crashes seem to be caused by a different failure every time. Maddening! My Event Log showed something called Error 41-63. There's a lot of stuff on the internet about this one, so it must be a common problem.

I Googled and a number of good Samaritans suggested removing the memory sticks, one by one, and isolate the fault that way. I discounted this since the computer had brand new memory and it seemed to work fine for days at a time. How could it be faulty memory? I'm accustomed to thinking of silicon based solid-state devices as failure-proof when used properly.
Very Good Memory, (What's this?) This memory upgrade is perfect for a low to mid range PC, and is well worth the money spent. If you are looking for a slightly higher end PC component go with PC2-8500 memory. But all around this memory package is very good.
sent the wrong item, (What's this?) I find that this is happening a lot to me. how can anyone mistake
2 gb of Memory for a Zip-lit with battery .
    R.
great!!, (What's this?) compatible with dell dimension e521 as long as you only use two in ddr2 slots two and four. the factory installed 512 mb ram should be snapped into ddr2 slots one and three.
Works well, no problems!, (What's this?) Unfortunately for those of us who have not made the upgrade to a new motherboard that supports DDR3, the price of DDR2 memory will still remain high. The PNY Optima 4G was one of the cheaper options I found while surfing around, with the highest ratings. Gave it a shot, and I was not disappointed. Plugged the modules in, and my DIY PC recognized them right away. Booted up with no problem, and I have been experiencing a much needed stress relief of memory usage. Brought me from pushing 70-90% memory usage down to about 30-40%. Feels nice. Would definitely recommend these modules.
product is not working, (What's this?) I start using means putting in the computer very late and its not working. so its waste product. Its too late s I cannot return it now.
New life for my computer, (What's this?) With the additional PNY ram for my desktop, I can finally take on some of the new
programs that I have been waiting to buy. Until now, there were often times that
I would have to wait to get the optimum speed to finish some projects.
It works of course, but you can do a bit better for a few more bucks., (What's this?) For a few more bucks, you can get the supposedly faster Corsair memory wich has enhanced heat dissipation (looks "cooler" too). Also, the free movie download that is described on the package didn't work (for what it's worth, and that's not much).
never got it, (What's this?) never got the item... so i dont know what to say about it ..... just think of this review as .01 out of 100 .01/100 that .
Very Satisfied, (What's this?) The memory board worked as expected and for $23 less than my local computer repair wanted. I will definitely order more computer parts through Amazon when necessary.

XFX Crossfire Bridge Video Card MAAP01CF1K

It works, no problem, (What's this?) The one comes Mobo is for SLI configuration and can't get Crossfire version from local store. Get it here and it's cheap and works fine.
No instruction comes with it but who needs it? J1A goes to 1st card (close to CPU) and J2A goes to the other. That's all.
Perfect, (What's this?) Exactly what I needed. Too bad they don't make these things to have the logo "XFX" on it. Fortunately I knew what it looked like before ordering. I would recommend to the seller to include an image of the other side of this bridge as well (the side everyone sees after attaching the bridge). I specifically ordered this one only because in big letters it stated CROSSFIRE. They make other crossfire bridges with different designs on them.
CrossFireX engaged!, (What's this?) I recently got two Radeon HD 6850 which didn't include Crossfire bridge (some packages do). Installed with ease.

No instructions, but it is straight forward - J1A goes first graphics and other to the second one.
2 bridges on Radeon 4870s is awesome!, (What's this?) This bridge works fantastic! I hooked up 2 Radeon 4870s (different vendors) with 2 bridges and my FPS on BF3 went from 30-62fps high settings to 70-120 fps on the same settings!!!

It was certainly worth buying this second bridge.
Works like it should, (What's this?) Had to buy this when neither of my graphics card or motherboard came with the crossfire cable. Worked exactly like it should.

  • Crossfire Compatible
  • Connects two AMD Radeon Video Cards that are Crossfire compatible.
  • Compatible with AMD Graphics Cards.

XFX AMD Radeon HD 6870 900M 1 GB DDR5 DUAL MINIDP HDMI DUAL DVI PCI-E Video Card (HD687AZHFC)

Not so loud, looks GREAT!, (What's this?) This is a short card.
Great Compact Card, I purchased this card to upgrade my Dell XPS 8300. The power supply on the 8300 is somewhat restrictive at less than 500W. I could tell from their website specs that this card is likely their "high end" option. Amazon's price is MUCH better than Dell's upgrade cost and installation is a breeze.

The card requires two power connectors but the 8300 has them. Also, the 8300 case is a bit narrow and this version of the card fits with a little room to spare. It's a bit noisy but that's pretty common for a card with these specs in this price range.

Overall, you won't be disappointed and for those of you wondering if this is compatible with Dell's XPS 8300 - it is. Save yourself some cash by upgrading yourself.

FYI: another great upgrade for the XPS8300 is Corsair XMS3 16GB (4x 4GB) PC3-10666 1333MHz DDR3 Memory Kit for AMD and Intel Dual Channel Processors CMX16GX3M4A1333C9 RAM. Again - you'll be upgrading to great RAM for a fraction of Dell's price.
Amazing for its price, After using an Nvidia 9800GT for a year I decided to invest in a better video card. I have no regrets.
Great Card With One HUGE Flaw, (What's this?) I bought this card a few weeks ago because it came out to $130 after rebate, which at the time was a great deal. For the most part I was happy with my purchase. Performance-wise, it was everything I expected. I'm able to run everything with a smooth frame rate at maximum or near-max settings.

The problem with this card is the fan. I've never heard a cooling fan this loud. When it's idling, I can hear it from the other side of my house. When it's under load it's almost deafening. You would think with all the noise that the fan would do a good job of cooling it, but it doesn't. The card was idling at around 65C and it got up to around 95C (sometimes pushing 100C) when playing something graphically intensive.

I ended up spending another $30 on an Accelero Twin Turbo Pro and now the card is basically perfect. It idles at around 45C, hasn't gotten above 75C and is pretty much silent. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase, but it ended up being not such a good deal with the extra money I had to spend on an aftermarket cooler and I probably would have been better off spending a little more on a card that had decent cooling out of the box.
    Not 1/2 Bad, (What's this?)
GREAT VALUE & POWER FOR ITS PRICE!, (What's this?) I've always had the enfatuation for an AMD CPU/ATI Video Card combo.

I initially stacked an AMD 955 BE with an Inno3D nVIDIA GTX 460 1GB OC Edition and everything was well-balanced. I did however, have the opportunity to switch over to the 6870 when my friend was interested in the 460. I sold the 460 then got the 6870.

First impressions, great package. Sleek, clean, and classy. For the freebies, a Deus EX download and a rebate in the form of a prepaid card. Cost at the time of purchase was $179. Good deal.

    Here's a comparison versus the 460:

Works great for Macs, I have a 2006 Mac Pro. Prior to purchasing this card, I had a Radeon HD4890 that only worked in OS X with a little bit of work. I also run Boot Camp to dual-boot with Windows 7 for gaming, and it was time for an upgrade.

I read on a forum that the 6870 works natively in OS X with the 2006 Mac Pro. I bought one, and sure enough, it works great without having to jump through hoops.
Great Card for your money $$$, (What's this?) Pro:
Worked right out of the box.
    Fit in my H8-1020 case.

    Con: None so far...

Hopefully it will play SWTOR better than my HD 6570.......
Fan is not "too Loud", (What's this?)
Excellent! I will reccomend to anyone!, (What's this?) I ordered this Graphics Card for my new Dell XPS-8300. This Card does everything I need it to do and more, whether its 1080p Gaming or Adobe After Effects HD video editing, this card can take it on. Radeon 6870 HD arrived just 18hrs after purchase. Super easy to install. Amazing Performance! I tested this and it can power three 43" 1080p displays at once, also includes efinity-eye support for gaming! Amazing Performance for only about $159. Best Bang for your buck.

EVGA GeForce GTX 550 Ti 2048 MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 2DVI/Mini-HDMI SLI Ready Graphics Card, 02G-P3-1559-KR

Runs Great, I needed an upgrade from my gt 240 so I went with this. Overall 7.2 score in windows which isn't bad. I can play my games more smoothly. Make sure you have enough room in your case and on your motherboard , it took up a great deal of space. Not really a con. Most modern games it keeps up with. I was blown away by its performance. I knew it was the card for me and I bought it and I have no regrets. If your looking for a great card this is it.
The worst graphic card I ve ever had, (What's this?) I was using an intel graphic card that came with the mother, actually is embedded in the i7 processor. For gaming was not a good video performance, I use to get en et enemy territory 70 fps.I bought this EVGA expecting a better performance due to is one of the latest nvidia chipsets and guess what, 11 fps so far,no matter what I do, how many searches on google to find a way to improve the performance, nothing works.I set the tgame to 1024x768, my god!!!! to see if I could improve the performance and nothing.Unfortunally I bought it to a computer I have in the caribbean cost and now I am far from usa, then to return this crap will be expensive so I gave it away and I will never ever buy an nvidia card again.I was one of those who loved nvidia.
Better than I expected!, (What's this?) I knew this card would be really great, especially since it was an upgrade from an 8600GT. It turned out to be a lot better than I expected. I now can turn ALL video settings to Max. setting no matter what game I am playing.
Never had such a great graphics card before., (What's this?) Paired with my I7 Processor and 8gb of ram (which is the minimum for games these days). This card performs very well with Ultra settings on BF3 and my other games. I usually go with cheaper cards and play on medium, but I bought this card and do not regret it. Easy install, no issues. I recommend using this with intels new I7 processor. 60+fps (with highest settings).
Great Card, Better than GTS 250, (What's this?) I had a PNY 250 GTS, this is a much better improvement, the fan is super silent, on my 250 the sound was like a jet engine, i got much better frame rates and better quality.
    Plus 3 yeas warranty.
Highly recommended, BUT!!! if you are a gamer, go for the 560 Ti, if not this is a great card for average and above average gaming, and watching videos and blurays.
A Serious Gamers Video Card at not a so Astronomonical Price!, (What's this?) This was my 2nd attempt at purchasing a Good Video Card for my son's "Excalibur" Desktop that I had just finished building for him for his games, video & Picturing editing, and of course his academic pursuits. The 1st Video Card I brought for my son's Excalibur Rig (A GIGABYTE Radeon HD 6450 1GB DDR3 DVI-I / D-Sub / HDMI Low Profile Graphics Card, GV-R645OC-1GI ) while did well with the 2nd and 3rd requirements the card fell short in the 1st requirement for his games, especially with video intensive games like Star Wars: The Force Unleashed which would show seriously lagging durring the more intense action parts of the game. Plus the Windows 7 Index score was almost the same as my wifes ATI 4650HD Video Card in her Desktop which was 5.0 for Windows Aero and 6.3 (out of a possible 7.9) for Gaming Graphics.

So I did some heavy research and decided to look at the EVGA Cards (with the Nvidia chipsets)on what I heard about from thier reputation and see if I could find a serious Gaming Video Card without necessarily breaking the bank.
nice!, (What's this?) This card does what it is supposed to do, no problems so far. I had a gtx 280 and it was BEAST of a card, I had to remove a hard drive because of it! This card is WAY smaller and instaled nicely. Got it hooked up to my 50in tv and it looks awesome.
Good Card, Read the Warranty Carefully!, (What's this?) I'm giving this card 3 out of 5 stars since EVGA stands by their products as long you register your product with them. If you forget to do so, they could care less about their products not lasting very long. They use the warranty registration as a sneaky way to get out of replacing failing products.
Solid card, reasonable price, (What's this?) Upgraded to this card about a week ago. Mostly, it's a great card that can play most of your games at max settings without any issues at all. However, this card is not the top of the line available right now. For extremely graphically intense games, you might have to settle for moderate settings. The card will still handle those games just fine, but if you don't want to sacrifice game performance you will probably have to keep the settings at a reasonable level. Overall, a great card for the price. Recommended for people on a budget that still wants a solid card. Cheaper cards just can't handle the load this card can and to get noticeably better performance over this one, you'd have to drop at least another hundred or more.

That being said, I did have a handful of issues but they seem to have cleared up. These are the reasons the card did not get 5 stars. First of all, when playing the game League of Legends (which is not graphically intense at all) I had an issue where my screen froze and at one point even went black for a few seconds. This occurrence only happened once and has since seemingly have been fixed. Second, when playing Portal 2, I had an instance where when there was a lot of gel flowing on the screen, I would get minor flickering. There was only 1 part in the entire game this was apparent that had enough flowing gel to cause the issue. Third, and this was the worst scenario, my screen would randomly go black and my computer would freeze when simply browsing the internet, not even in a game or anything. This happened a total of 4 times, so it wasn't a simple fluke.

Like I said, I believe this issues have been alleviated since they last happened. I uninstalled the drivers, ran a driver sweeper to clean out all previously installed drivers believing there may have been a conflict from something left behind from my old ATI card, did a clean install of the Nvidia drivers and so far so good.

    Crucial 512 GB m4 2.5-Inch Solid State Drive SATA 6Gb/s CT512M4SSD2

Wish I had a Patriot Wildfire, Hard drives haven't improved much since the 15k rpm Seagate Baracuda first shipped in the late 90's until a few years ago when Crucial shipped the first PC SSD. I bought this one directly from the Crucial web site because it came (for extra $) with a kit specifically for my Dell XPS 8300 ... but alas it didn't fit (which the Crucial support sadly repeatedly lied about). It sounds from bracker reviews that this is a common problem (how hard can it be?!?). I would give the Icy Dock SSD HD Bracket a try if I was to do it again. My Crucial also came with no cable, but this was no big deal being one costs only $1-$4 (such as the OKGear 18-inch SATA III Cable with latch). With some drilling I was able to get three screws into the SSD bracket. I bought this drive because it seemed to be the most popular SSD and I've happily bought cheaper aftermarket Micron memory for three decades.

BUT, I now wish I had instead bought the faster Patriot Wildfire (or the Mushkin Chronos Deluxe) at Black Friday pricing. The Patriot is currently on sale for under two C notes (with a $50 coupon). The Crucial SSD drive worked with no Win 7 modifications (using Aconis TrueImage Home to clone the boot drive). As such, it boots with password in about 30 seconds including a sprinkling of extra OEM software and I get a 1543 PassMark result (good for a lot more than just games - ha ha). Comparing this result online (see first comment) shows there are MANY faster drives with the Patriot Memory 120 GB Wildfire Solid State Drive (PW120GS25SSDR) being the fastest 120GB drive (and not just by a little bit but is almost twice as fast). Live and learn.
solid state hard drive, (What's this?) This is a very good drive for the price, the only disadvantage is its size.
by the time you get all of windows drivers and updates loaded on it theres not much space left for games and such.

Over all its a good fast hard drive but i wood by the 128 instead of the 64 next time i by one.
Buy this SSD!, (What's this?) Seriously. Look at the reviews for Crucial M4 drives, then look at the reviews for all the other brands.
I like it., (What's this?) It is definitely a step up from most mechanical hard drives in term of performance. It seems to work well, so far.

    Pros: Fast, silent and small.

    Cons:

    - Price
    - The 128GB model is slower than the 256GB one (still worth having).
Very Fast & Quiet, (What's this?) This is by far one of the best (and most expensive) components I have in my new PC build. Keep in mind, my previous computer had a Pentium 4 with an older traditional hard drive.

Now, with the newer setup, I'm using the Crucial M4 Solid State Drive with an Intel Core i7-2600. The difference in speed is beyond ridiculous. All programs load almost instantly, including Adobe Creative Suite. Boot time is about 10-15 seconds. Best of all, it's completely silent.

Two important things regarding this product:
    1) Make sure it comes with firmware version 009 (or higher). Mine did, but some may not. The firmware version is written on the label of the drive. If it doesn't come with version 009, be sure to upgrade it BEFORE installing the operating system. You'll want to read instructions on their website on how to do it properly.

    2) You will get better results using a SATA III port instead of a SATA II port.

Overall, this drive has been very fast and reliable. Since solid state drives are still fairly new, they're quite expensive compared to mechanical hard drives, but you get what you pay for.

    Motherboard: ASRock P67 Pro3 B3
    CPU: Intel Core i7-2600 @ 3.
Makes a world of difference in speed and super quiet!, (What's this?) You'e already read the good reviews. This Driver is awesome. I've had it over 6 months now and no problems as of yet. But, some advice I wish I had before I installed would've saved me a day or two of heartache. Be sure to update the driver for this guy. As soon as you install, update the driver because it does not come with the most updated drivers. Prior to updating, The only way I could access my comp was going through bios. I called Crucial Tech support and they walked me through the possible issue and it worked. The tech support is great, by the way! Good Luck.

I have an Asus U30SD and I'm running Win 7 on it.
Dead in the water, (What's this?) Connected this thing on two laptops and it was not recognized. Hoked it up to another machine as a slave and didn't even come up. Wrapped it back up and sent it back.
Very Happy, (What's this?) Very courteous service and the SSD is a great product.
excellent with a great price, (What's this?) this ssd is really the best that you can get for this price range , i wasnt sure if to buy this or the corsair products . but this ssd really blow me up , no problems at all , very fast and really works fine , i mean dont give yourself a headache and look for technical details , its fast , and its really fast . you have to update the drivers to get its full potential , but when you do that , its glitch free.

the only disadvantage of this ssd is that it doesnt come with a bracket , but for the price , its really ok.

i am buying the second one to have a raid 0 system ( both working together to make my pc faster) . thank you amazon for the great services.
Excellent drive for the current price, (What's this?) I've purchased the 512GB version to use as a primary drive for my PC. The product arrived promptly, in a proper packaging. Be aware though, the only thing in a (manufacturer's) package will be a drive itself - no cables (I didn't need any), no adapter/bracket to fit in 3.5" drive bays (but plenty of them available here at Amazon for less than 10 dollars). The drive already came with latest firmware (0009 at the time of this review), so currently there's no need to update it. After putting it inside of my PC I had to do a fresh Windows 7 install (I tried to copy old Win7 partition from previous drive, but there were few problems, so I just decided to do a fresh OS install and copy everything I needed from previous drive). Everything went fine - Win7 did a proper partition alignment by default, the TRIM function was also enabled by default, the only thing I needed to do after installation was to disable the Win7's defragmentation schedule (which for some reason was enabled). I've re-installed all necessary programs/games, copied all my documents, savegames and such (yes, I store them all on my primary drive). I didn't bother installing Intel's "Rapid Storage" drivers for Intel's SATA controller on my motherboard - I am not planning on setting up any kind of RAID in any near future, so I see no point in using them over Win7's default drivers. I will not bore you with useless (they can vary from system to system) numbers, suffice it to say that everything now loads significantly faster (including games and other programs), obviously not instantaneously (because different games/programs have different ways of loading/caching/swapping data to/from RAM and storage devices) but fast enough to NOT be annoying anymore. I am currently limited by the "old" SATA2 controller on my current motherboard (if you will look up reviews on internet you will see this drive is capable of faster than 300MB/s sequential read speed on SATA3 controllers) but even with this "handicap" I am perfectly satisfied with my purchase and the amount of $$$ I spent on it.

TEAC 1.44MB USB External Floppy Disk Drive (Black)

Does not work., (What's this?) Item does NOT work. Simple as this.
Seemed to install fine, but gave the message:
"Please format the disk" on all my old floppies.
When attempting to format gave false message:
    Disk is write protected.
Thought all my floppies were bad,
but borrowed a different drive from a friend.
the other drive read all the floppies,
except the ones attempted to format by this one.
Works as Advertised, (What's this?) Works as advertised Plug and play with my XP system. I would order again. Not a whole lot to say about it.
Inexpensive but Very Useful, (What's this?) The player was inexpensive and easy to use. All I had to do was put in the old-time 3x5 floppies and save data to my computer or make new CDs. Easy! I would recommend this product.
floppy disk drive, (What's this?) disk works perfectly as expected. great fast delivery. i now can copy some old retirement pictures that were too old for new computers.
not good, (What's this?) I received on time and plugged in to usb port and placed a floppy in and worked for one floppy and never worked again. I believe unit is bad, does not reconize any other floppys i put in, it comes back with need to format and i know there are pictures on these floppy disk i have. If anyone has a soloution, please let me know.
A Drive Great drive, (What's this?) This purchase helped me find old files on a 3.5 disc and it was great to get it and it worked as expected.
cheaply made, (What's this?) I bought two of these, luckily, because the first one worked only one time before I got a malfunction pop-up. I have not sent it back yet. Hopefully they will allow me to return it.
would not read formatted disk, (What's this?) Returned this item because it would not read formatted disks but instead stated that each disk I used needed to be formatted.

I did reformat one disk and then that disk could not be read by other computers.

These knock offs are, I think, like the original Timex watches; If they work, they work well. If they don't work, they will be no good for ever. Kind of a hit and miss chance that any of these work properly.

If you have the time to continue to exchange these things, you will probably eventually get one that works.

In all fairness, the company offered to do anything to make up for the bad product, but I had already returned it to Amazon and ordered another from a different supplier.
Very Good Purchase, (What's this?) This was a great purchase. The product arrived quickly and looks and works as advertised. Great buy for the money. Will buy again we in need of this product.
Great, (What's this?) Bought this product in order to get some pictures and files off of some old floppy disks I found. Product worked great and at that price there is no way I could complain. I recommend this product for anyone with a similar situation.

    Crucial 200-Pin SODIMM DDR2 PC2-5300 CL=5 Unbuffered NON-ECC DDR2-667 1.8V 256 Megx64 2 GBx2 4 GB Kit Memory Modules

Wonderful product., (What's this?) The Crucial Memory modules were very easy to install. I have never added memory to my Mac before. It absolutely flies now! Great product.
Very good upgrade!, (What's this?) I purchased my Macbook in late 2007 and have been doing a lot of work on it since then. My Macbook was running on 1 GB of memory and running a bunch of graphic art applications on it (like Adobe photoshop and Illustrator) was a big no no. My applications would run very slowly and often times crash. I later discovered that my applications were using a lot of memory on my computer. So I went ahead and purchased this 4 GB memory kit to max out my Macbook's memory. Since upgrading I've had no more problems with applications crashing or slowing down on me while working. This was a great purchase for me.
Speed, (What's this?) I believe speed laptop is more faster.
This laptop i do not use very often.
Do not have enough information now.
Crucial 200-Pin SODIMM DDR2, (What's this?) I installed this memory pretty quickly in my 2007 imac. I watched a youtube video for step-by-step instructions. So far we are pretty happy.
Fast!, (What's this?) Great speed improvement for an old laptop that I upgraded... these ram sticks were a terrific addition and have worked flawlessly with daily use of the updated machine.
two for one, (What's this?) These went right in my macbook and the improvement shows. Super easy. Wish i did it sooner.
Then i put the old memory in my mini. 2 upgrades in one. I'm so thrilled.
Worked very well., (What's this?) The product worked great. I have a MBP Early 2008. The philips screw driver I used was 2.4mm. No complaints. I went by a freind's recommendation on Crucial. Did not fail.
good stuff, (What's this?) Received the RAM exactly as advertised. It came quickly. I've had trouble with other vendors while trying to get this item. Not this time. I'm very pleased.
Excellent Product, (What's this?) When looking for RAM for my Macbook, I searched a few places on the interenet to find a good deal. Knowing what kind I needed, I decided to search Amazon for it. I was able to find a good deal on the product, free shipping included! This is just one reason why I shop on Amazon.com all the time.
Big improvement, (What's this?) I have a HP Pavilion Entertainment PC (dv2615nr).
It has Vista Ultimate 32 bit
    1.9 Turion Processor.

It had 1GB of RAM 2 x 512MB (really wrong to give someone that to run Vista)

I put a 2 GB PC6400 RAM in and it just clocked it down to PC5300, so I just went ahead and bought these 2 x 2GB sticks at the max specs of PC5300. It hasn't gotten close to maxing the RAM out now if the widget gauge built in Vista is correct. It seems like the processor is the limiting factor now.

If you're debating between upgrading 2GB or 4GB, I really didn't notice much of difference in performance. So if the price difference is substantial, I'd go with the 2GB (2 x 1GB).

Bottom line: It doesn't really run on 1GB of total RAM. Upgrading to 2GB will make a world of difference. 4GB maybe a tad better but negligible in my experience.

  • Memory Size: 4 GB
  • Memory Speed: 667 MHz
  • Memory Standard: DDR2-667/PC2-5300

  • Memory Size: 4 GB.Memory Speed: 667 MHz.Memory Standard: DDR2-667/PC2-5300.Number of Modules: 2 x 2 GB.Memory Technology: DDR2 SDRAM. Crucial 2GB 256Mx64PC2-5300 CT25664AC667 DDR2 200-Pin SODIMM Laptop Memory

Compatible With Dell Mini 1012, (What's this?) Popped it in the Mini 1012 and it works like a charm. System is peppier, programs open more readily and smoother then before. High definition video plays smoother and with no noticeable hiccups as before. Hi def vids used to start with some stutters the first few seconds. Now it's smooth sailing start to finish.

Easiest and best upgrade for our lowly powered netbooks. I have always found adding RAM to a machine with barely enough to run the OS and a few programs simultaneously to be most beneficial to overall performance. Upgrading my Windows 7 Home Premium based netbook from 1 gig to 2 gigs sounds like double the RAM, but it's actually three times the RAM I had as before, as my machine uses 500mb just to sit idle. That left me with 500 mb's to run apps, and what not. I now have 1500 mb's to run apps. Big diff...

You need this upgrade! Took ten minutes from start to finish, and I have never opened up a laptop before. Easy peasy.
    bien, (What's this?)
Works great in a Xplore iX104C4, (What's this?) I purchased this product to use in my Xplore Techologies ultra rugged PC. Its a ix104C4 Dual Mode Allview Extreme. This really helped speed up the computer. Nice upgrade from the stock 1GB of ram. Its hard to find information on these computers about upgrading RAM so I hope this helps anyone interested in upgrading an xplore C4.
RAM is RAM, (What's this?) The purchase and delivery was easy. I got the RAM in the time estimated at a great rate. I will do this again when I need more RAM. Good value for money.
Quality Memory at a great price, (What's this?)
Easiest upgrade I've ever done, (What's this?) I followed the directions, saw immediate improvement in my little netbook's performance as a result of just doubling the RAM. excellent price!!! I researched many places and this was the easiest, quickest purchase spot.
    Crucial Memory Rocks, (What's this?)
completely satisfied, (What's this?) received memory promptly. installed the two memory sticks in my granddaughter's dell notebook. it went from 512k to 2g. it worked imediately and she said she can tell the difference in speed.
Works great on my Dell Mini 9, (What's this?) This maxed out the RAM in my Dell Mini 9. It was a cheap, fast, and easy upgrade for my netbook.
Be careful with the right SODIMM for your NetBook, (What's this?) Just be careful and double check the type of SODIMM your netbook can mounts.
I've bought this Crucial 200-pin 5300 but it doesn't fit my Acer Aspire One 533.
I'll try this one instead, it should works fine: Crucial CT25664BC1067 2 GB 204-PIN PC3-8500 SODIMM DDR3 Memory Module

So, basically I just gave 3 stars as I'm not able to rate this product.

  • Memory Speed- PC5400; Memory Speed MHz- 667MHz
  • Memory Size- 2048MB; Memory Modules- 1; Memory Channels- Dual; Memory Socket- SODIMM;

  • Memory Speed- PC5400; Memory Speed MHz- 667MHz.Memory Size- 2048MB; Memory Modules- 1; Memory Channels- Dual; Memory Socket- SODIMM;.Memory Category- Laptop; Memory Type- DDR2. A small outline dual inline memory module (SODIMM) consists of a number of memory components (usually black) that are attached to a printed circuit board (usually green). SODIMMs get their name because they are smaller and thinner than regular DIMMs. The gold pins on the bottom of the SODIMM provide a connection between the module and a socket on a larger printed circuit board. The pins on the front and back of a SODIMM are not connected. 200-pin SODIMMs are used to provide DDR and DDR2 SDRAM memory for notebook computers. 200-pin SODIMMs are available in PC2700 DDR SDRAM, PC3200 DDR SDRAM, DDR2 PC2-6400 SDRAM, DDR2 PC2-5300 SDRAM, DDR2 PC2-4200 SDRAM and DDR2 PC2-3200 SDRAM. To use DDR or DDR2 memory, your system motherboard must have 200-pin SODIMM slots and a DDR- or DDR2-enabled chipset. A DDR or DDR2 SODIMM will not fit into a standard SDRAM SODIMM socket.

    Noctua NF-P12 Fan

Unbeatable Performance, (What's this?) These fans are just unbeatable when it comes to performance/noise. I replaced two 80mm fans with 2 of these Noctua's and I installed another Noctua 120mm in the side door (Cooler Master HAF 912 Case) and the results are unmatched. These fans move a good amount of air and they produce little noise. I will not say they are absolutely silent but all you hear is a feint sound of air movement and not the sound of the fan fins, which you hear from other fans from other manufacturers which gets unbearable after a while.

Everyone knows Noctua is a premium brand and they use premium parts in making these fans. These fans will last >100,000 hours, which absolutely beats the competitors, whose sleeve fans are rated at roughly 20,000 hours and get louder the more they're in use.

Many people find these fans ugly but I am not going for looks but for performance/noise and these fans are constantly rated at the top of the 120mm charts.

A good touch is that Noctua includes 4 rubber mounts to install the fans to reduce vibrations but the fans were semi-loose when using them so I decided to just screw them in. They also come with 4 to 3 pin fan adapters for those who prefer to connect them via the power supply or for those who have no fan headers left to use on the motherboard.
Absolutely silent, (What's this?) I was revamping an old computer and wanted to make it as quiet as possible - picked up two of these, and have been extremely happy that I did. They push a lot of air, and are very, very quiet.
Very quiet and moves good amount of air, (What's this?) I have 4 of these type fans installed in my latest build. 120mm in front; 120mm in rear; 92mm mounted to cool GPU; 92mm retro fitted to cool CPU. I use a front panel fan controller which shows the temps and rpms and this combination works great for me.
Quiet and Cool, (What's this?) I purchased two of these fans to replace the ones that came with my cooler master enforcer case. [...]
I recently installed[...] liquid cooling to keep things running well. the fans that came with it were ok, but these Noctua fans are great! they are quiet and keep my motherboard at 28 Degrees Celsius.
Noctua NF-P12 Fan, (What's this?) Excellent low noise/high pressure fan that money can buy.
Best fans, (What's this?) I purchased these fans for a push-pull setup on a h50 cpu cooler. These fans are silent and really seem to blow a great deal of air. The build quality is superb, I've tried different fans from different manufacturers and none of them came close to how solid these feel.
Not so quiet, (What's this?) Bought three of these for a new comp build and two are useless - they are twice as loud as anything else in the machine. Not impressed with the reality vs. the hype. The motors make a constant whining sound that totally overwhelms the sounds of the hard drives and power supply fan.
Not bad, (What's this?) I like these fans. I bought 4 of them for my case. I like the feel of them. I don't love the color as most people don't either but it isn't very visible when it's inside the case. The rubber mounts are nice although I don't see any instruction how to properly install them any where. There is a small diagram that doesn't help much. Installing these rubber mounts is pretty difficult because there will always be 1 or 2 holes that is impossible to reach because it's too close to components in a case.

I have an NZXT case with a fan controller. These fans are pretty quiet and are more quiet if they run on slower speeds. Out of the 4 fans that I bought, I have a problem with one or two of them not spinning on the lowest fan controller speed when I turn on the computer. The fan works once I increase the speed to a higher setting and then reduce it back to lowest setting. I find this a little strange. This is a small hassle because if I forget to turn the speed up at first, one or two fans won't be doing their jobs and not cool the system.

Here is my problem with these fans.
NOCTUA FANatic, This fan has by far the highest air flow vs lowest noise I've found in a computer fan EVER! No joke this fan is ultra quiet and moves air very efficiently and powerfully. The ONLY downside at all is the brown color & lack of LED's for those fancy PC bling enthusiasts. Pfft! Seriously I'll easily sacrifice aesthetics for it's overall quality any day. I love this fan so much I've purchased 18 of them for a push pull configuration on a MO-RA3 9 x 120mm PRO Extreme Radiator. (found here)
    [...]
    * Unfortunately as of this post, not yet sold on Amazon.

Along with the Rhombus Fan Brackets "Grills" covering the brown fans on either side for a clean look, makes for the most extreme cooling system I've ever had on my water-cooled PC. And thankfully as quiet as can possibly be with all those fans running :P

If you're going to use anywhere near this amount of running fans for your PC configuration you certainly want the best, and Noctua CAN'T be beat.
Silent, strong, and high quality. Noctua delivers!, (What's this?) This is the third fan I bought from Noctua.

I continue to be impressed by the workmanship of this Austrian fan producer. The fan is silent, yet produces a massive air flow of up to 92.3m3/h at 1300rpm and 19.8dB(A), which is barely audible from 1 yard away. You can also use two different extension cables to reduce the RPMs, airflow, and make the fan inaudible. Also, the fans come with great flexible rubber attachments for reducing vibrations, as well as classical screws. I usually use the rubbers, as they have the added benefit of quick installation. This particular fan ended up in a push/pull configuration for water cooling an I7 860 with a Corsair H50, and it works great.

Throughout the last 20 years, I must have purchased around 20 different computer fans. I was never really satisfied until I found Noctua. If you're tired of funny noises coming from under your desk and want maximum cooling for overclocking your computer or a long life for your expensive hardware, get one of these: Simply terrific, strong and silent fans.

EVGA GeForce GTX 580 SuperClocked with Free "Batman: Arkham City" Game Download coupon included, 1536 MB GDDR5, Dual-DualLink

The best computer crashing device your money can buy, (What's this?) I got the gtx 580 sc as an anniversary gift from my wife. I'm not a hard gamer or even someone that runs my computers into the ground. This card brought my computer to its knees and crashed it more than 30 times (specs shown below). It was heartbreaking.

I tried everything I could think off.
Great Graphics Card!, (What's this?) I bought this Graphics card to SLI my other gtx 580 superclocked. Now all tasks are almost equally divided between two cards not allowing one card to run so heavily. These gtx 580's are the next to best available except maybe the gtx 590's which are still beyond my pricing reach.
Awesome Performance and Stability, (What's this?) I used to be an avid nVidia user, but, had changed over to ATI/AMD for my past 2 upgrades. Though those cards (5770, and 5850HD) were both solid performers, the increase in FPS and picture quality has been amazing with the GTX580

Ease of installation, and honestly the control center for nVidia is much easier to use than the Catalyst system.

Very satisfied with this card, the only critique, is the lack of more that 1 HDMI output connectors, I have a 3 monitor setup and would prefer to have all directly connected via HDMI vs 1 HDMI and two DVI adapted over to HDMI as my monitors only accept HDMI.
Just Perfect, (What's this?) Easy to setup, runs everything even in 3D on extreme graphics. With Evga Precision progarm (free, VERY sipmle&easy to use),you can easly overclock your pc, and adjust your fan speed to keep it cool everytime. Also Evga's costumer support is awesome.. They reply in less then 2 hours, great support. I definetly suggest Evga if you are inbetween brands.

    P.
Absolute GPU goodness, only hits about 65C under full load on any game played.
I am ready to get another one and go SLI, (What's this?) The best GPU I have ever owned. BF3 on ultra is the way to go with this card. FTW EVGA is the best I highly recommend.
This Video Card is a BEAST!, (What's this?) I was in the market a few months ago to build a gaming rig that will be "Battlefield 3-ready" (because I'm a huge Battlefield series fan and October can't come soon enough!)
I did my research and came to the conclusion that I was simply going to splurge on the best available card at the time. I know that when it came time for me to make the purchase of this video card, the GTX 590 have come out recently. But according to numerous reviews/benchmarks, the GTX 580 actually performed equally (if not better) as the GTX 590.

I went with this card and I definitely do not regret it one bit. I am currently able to run Crysis 2, Battlefield Bad Company 2, and Battlefield 3 (Alpha) at full resolution with no problem.

Here's my PC that I built with components I primarily purchased from Amazon:

    - Intel Core i7-2600K
    - ASUS Sabertooth P67 (Rev 3)
    - eVGA 1.
Great card, (What's this?) Despite the ultra high price, the card is great. Run smooth all the latest games you can imagine at max settings. I recommend.
Battlefield 3, all ultra settings, battlefield 3, all ultra settings. need i say more? ^_^ not even running these sli, i have a friend that's been running two of these sli for the last few months and loves them as well!

really a fantastic card, had no issues with drivers or any graphical bugs i've been hearing about some people seeing in bf3.
Works as advertised, (What's this?) Video card has been in the system for probably a month now. Works just like it should. EVGA suplied one of the few with the cooling solution that pushed the air out the back versus dumping it into the case and did so at a good price.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler, RR-B10-212P-G1

Excellent cooler, Very efficient, quiet and easy to install (no plastic pieces to break).

Brought the temperatures in my CPU (i5-2500k) down compared with stock Intel cooler as follows:
    - Idle temp down to 26C from 30C
    - Full-load (Prime95 max-heat torture test): 50C from 70C

The included instructions could be a bit clearer, but the cooler does its job really well. Still, the CPU contact plate could be all-copper and completely flat for even better heat dispersion. But that would be a twice as expensive part.

So I'm giving it full 5 stars.
Noisy fan, (What's this?) 2.5 stars.

For $20, I wasn't expecting anything spectacular out of this product.
I was hoping for better cooling and lower noise levels than the Intel retail cooler. I do get a very reasonable reduction in CPU temperatures on an i7 compared to the stock heat sink. Unfortunately in my case, the fan that ships with this product developed a bad bearing after only three weeks in operation, causing a disagreeable increase in overall noise level from that computer. I've since replaced the fan with a Noctua, but I'd like to think that any random 120mm fan I happened upon could manage to operate 20 days before it started to fail. If I bought another one of these I doubt I'd even install the included fan.
Cool and Reasonable, (What's this?) This CPU cooler does an excellent job in cooling my AMD Phenom processor at stock and moderate overclocked speeds. With the stock single fan, the CPU would run at 40-42 degrees C for hours on end. When I added a second fan in the supplied clips to increase the cooling, I can run at 25% overclock on the CPU and stay at 39 degrees C without seeing the temperature rise on the temperature monitor for the CPU.

One note is that you should pay attention to the direction of air flow before installing this fan as that can impact the way you orient the fan for the most efficient cooling.
It's a tank, but it works great., (What's this?) What the title said. That, and the installation is difficult for someone with no heatsink/fan experience. The instructions were also hard to follow. Not for the novice builder, but it performs well. Keeps my CPU below 50C at all times (that's while playing bf3, black ops, and napoleon total war).
You Know It, (What's this?) What else is there to say. This is easily the best bang for the buck when it comes to cooling your CPU. It's a little tall so it may not fit in smaller cases, but other than that it's the best thing out there. Pretty quiet as well. I have one in my Gaming PC and one in my Hackintosh. Both are really quiet.
Very pleased with this purchase, (What's this?) I selected this cooler after reading countless reviews. I was concearned about it being hard to install. After watching several install videos on youtube, I decided to try it. Installation was a breeze, as this was a fresh build.
Great Product for a price., (What's this?) I purchased this product a month ago for my PC Gaming Build, it performs well as describe in the specifications. I used it to cool my intel i5 2500K overclocked at 5.5 GHZ with a stable temperature ay 49 degress celsius. I probably recommend this product Cooler Master 212 hyper plus heat sink with 120mm fan.
Great Product, The Cooler Master is Great! why? when i had my first CPU fan it suck! it was loud and my CPU TEM was 70c, but now its 25c. now that a big differences, before the Cooler Master my computer was slow and my games were laggy because it got over heated too fast. but now it all good.
This Cpu fan is phenomenal, Processor AMD X6 1100
My cpu stays at 20c it never goes pass 35c on max. The Fan is really loud so i replace it with 120mm fan i had laying around i still have the same results & i don't even notice anymore. I have never seen result like this for air cooling it beats some of my friends water cooling in temps.
Amazing air cpu cooler, (What's this?) so at first i purchased to go with X4 975 and X6 1100. it kept them both at 20' C, but i used 2 120mm fans on it with a y connector, in a cluttered old HP M8100y case... its cramped especially with the 6990, wireless card, blu ray, dvd, 2 hdd. will post news of the change to i5 2600k once i get it put together. the other was in a cooler master case that i dont use.
